People turn to Alongside for different reasons. They may be facing homelessness, escaping domestic abuse, or rebuilding their lives after trauma. Our teams provide practical help, safe accommodation and ongoing support, working with each person on what they need next.

Many supporters choose to leave a gift in their Will because they want to continue supporting a cause they care about. We understand that family and loved ones come first. After taking care of those closest to you, you may wish to leave a gift to Alongside. Gifts of all sizes are welcome.

Last year, Alongside supported 2,915 people and provided 90,883 bed nights across our services. Matt is one of the people who has received support from our team.

After difficulties within his family led to homelessness, Matt spent months sleeping rough.

Matt connected with Alongside’s outreach team and later moved into supported accommodation. Today, he is rebuilding his life and looking towards the future.
