Karl was a former army helicopter pilot in the Army Air Corps, however was discharged with diagnosis of Complex PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

Kate describes her childhood as brilliant – she was well brought up in amazing house. Things changed when tragically her dad committed suicide when she was just 11 years old.

A life not lived, a life existing in a world I created from the influence of drugs and alcohol. At the age of 8 years old my journey into depression, despair and darkness began as I had my first drink.
